Customer-Provided Blanks Policy

At RT Customized Creations, I understand that some customers prefer to supply their own items for customization. While I’m happy to work with customer-provided blanks when approved, it’s important to clearly outline how these orders are handled.

This policy exists to set expectations, outline risk, and ensure transparency before work begins.

What Is a Customer-Provided Blank?

A customer-provided blank is any item supplied by the customer for customization. This may include, but is not limited to:

• Apparel (shirts, hoodies, hats, etc.)
• Bags, totes, or accessories
• Drinkware
• Specialty items or personal keepsakes

These items are not sourced or supplied by RT Customized Creations.

Pricing for Customer-Provided Blanks

Providing your own blank does not reduce the price of customization.

Most of the cost of custom work comes from design time, setup, equipment use, materials, testing, and labor, not the cost of the blank itself. Because of this, pricing remains the same whether the blank is supplied by the customer or sourced by RT Customized Creations.

Design fees, customization fees, and any applicable setup costs still apply in full.

Important Risk Disclosure

Customization processes such as heat pressing, printing, pressing, or application of transfers carry inherent risks, even when proper techniques and equipment are used.

Because I do not control the quality, condition, or material composition of customer-provided blanks, all customization is performed at the customer’s risk.

No Replacement or Refund Guarantee

By choosing to provide your own blank, you acknowledge and agree that:

• RT Customized Creations is not responsible for damage to customer-supplied items
• Items will not be replaced or reimbursed if damaged during the customization process
• No refunds or credits will be issued for customer-provided blanks
• Damage may include, but is not limited to, scorching, discoloration, cracking, peeling, shrinking, or press marks

This includes damage that may occur despite proper application and industry-standard practices.

Condition of Items

Customer-provided blanks must be:

• New and unwashed
• Clean and free of debris, pet hair, or residue
• Appropriate for the requested customization method

Items that appear damaged, excessively worn, or unsuitable for customization may be refused at my discretion.

Approval and Acknowledgment

Customer-provided blanks must be approved before work begins. In some cases, customers may be asked to acknowledge this policy in writing before customization proceeds.

Once work begins, the customer accepts full responsibility for the outcome of the item.

Recommendation

To ensure the best possible results and minimize risk, I strongly recommend using blanks sourced directly by RT Customized Creations whenever possible. This allows me to work with materials I know, trust, and can replace if needed.
